Homework may be part of tutoring, but the goal is not simply to finish an assignment. We use current work to identify what the student understands, where gaps are developing, and what habits need to improve.

Coastal Academic supports students from kindergarten through eighth grade on this program page. Tutoring is adjusted to the student’s age, coursework, independence, academic needs, and goals.
Yes. FAST preparation may include reading, writing, or math skill development, familiarity with tested concepts, targeted practice, and test-taking support based on the student’s grade and needs.
We review the student’s current performance, strengths, learning gaps, FAST-related needs, homework habits, and family goals. We then recommend an appropriate tutoring focus, format, and weekly cadence.
Both options may be available. Small groups are limited to three students and depend on compatible grade levels, subjects, schedules, and learning needs.
Elementary and middle school tutoring is generally organized around 60-minute sessions. The recommended schedule depends on the student’s needs and goals.
